Hey! I appreciate the cheers--I've just gotten 17K+ words, and I'll be honest: I've never gotten this many words before, and I'm trying to stay ahead of the minimum daily word count so I can maybe (please gods) finish this by NaNo standards before my birthday which is the 25th. Until November's over, I may end up ignoring the time change and just keep waking up at what feels like my normal time, just so I can write in the morning when everything is still and quiet.
